Local Pubs

Longford's surrounding region is full of watering holes and local pubs, these are but a few of our current local favourites!

Just east of Longford you’ll find the head-turning town of Evandale, a small locale that isn’t short on historic buildings. Built in a classic style with open wood fireplaces and a sizeable beer garden.

A Proper Sports Pub. At the leafy end of Charles St, you'll find Sporties Hotel, Bar & Kitchen, located in the heart of Launceston's café precinct.

The infamous Corner Pub.....in 1963 Lex Davison under brakes crashed into the pub and decided to resolve himself with refresher. With no money the publican shouted Lex. The following year in 1964 Lex was seen walking the paddock with a £2 note pinned to his racing suit "I am prepared this year" Lex told the enquirers!

The historic Carrick Inn Hotel provides country meals and hospitality in the picturesque village of Carrick. First established 1833 as a “House of Entertainment for Travellers”.

The Queen's Arm's is a unique place in Longford, to catch up for a few drinks, or a flutter or two and perhaps catch some live entertainment.

Located in the heart of Longford the Blenheim Inn is a welcoming place to catch up for a few drinks, a flutter on the Keno or to have a good ol hearty meal.
